Valley Choice CPR is a nurse owned company dedicated to teaching certification courses in a stress-free and fun learning environment. We're are passionate about teaching proper CPR skills and other lifesaving skills. It is our mission to provide interesting and interactive classes that promise to equip every person with proper CPR techniques if ever they are faced with a life-threatening emergency. We are American Heart Association Certified Instructors. We specialize in Healthcare Provider COURSES in BLS, CPR AED, First Aid, and Pediatric CPR AED/First Aid. Valley Choice CPR is an official CEU provider by the California Department of Public Health for CNA and HHAs

Laura Alvarez Rivera

RN/CPR Instructor

I have been a Licensed Vocational Nurse since 2008 and became a Registered Nurse in 2024. I bring extensive experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health, and Hospice care, and I am also a California state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor. I am currently advancing my clinical skills in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.

My home and heart are in the Coachella Valley. While I proudly serve my local community, I also enjoy supporting surrounding cities and counties by extending educational and training services.

Teaching is truly my passion. I am dedicated to helping others gain the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed. I look forward to assisting you with your CPR, First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA), and continuing education (CEU) needs.

Ricardo Rivera

My name is Ricardo Rivera, and I am a certified CPR instructor dedicated to teaching lifesaving skills and helping others feel confident in emergency situations. I am passionate about educating individuals on how to respond quickly and effectively when every second counts.

My approach to teaching focuses on creating a comfortable, supportive learning environment where students can practice hands-on skills and ask questions openly. I strive to make CPR training clear, practical, and easy to understand so that every student leaves feeling prepared and confident.

I believe that anyone can learn to save a life, and I am proud to help equip others with the knowledge and skills needed to make a difference in their families, workplaces, and communities.
